Einleitung
Free-formed CFRP profiles made from carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer with an epoxy resin matrix and continuous fibers offer excellent mechanical strength, high dimensional accuracy, and good surface propreties. By specifically designing the fiber layup, the profiles can be optimally tailored to meet the respective requirements.
For a high-quality and uniform surface finish, the profiles can optionally be manufactured with a CFRP woven fabric outer layer.
As standard, we manufacture free-formed, customized geometries with diameters ranging from 4mm to approximately 12mm.
The production of free-formed profiles is carried out using molds made of aluminium or steel. The choice of mold material depends on the required production volume.
